Balancing Western Medicine and Alternative Methods

Hi, my name is Kelly, and ever since I discovered I have lupus, I have been trying to balance western medicine approaches with alternative care methods. In my mind, you can use both of these approaches together to achieve optimum health. From the western medicine front, I use steroids to keep my symptoms under control, and on the alternative healing front, I embrace a healthy diet, take vitamins, practice mindfulness and meditation and occasionally see a naturopath in addition to my regular doctor.
